Welcome to Ai Composer!
This is a tool for people who want to compose more intentional and
detailed textual prompts when working with text-to-image diffusion
models and other generative visual tools like midjourney, DALL-E,
and Stable Diffusion.
Currently, Ai Composer only has flags for
Midjourney, with DALL-E and Stable Diffusion coming
soon if this tool seems useful (please share this tool with others
if it's useful to you!)
A quick Intro
The video above will get you started quickly, but here's a quick
breakdown of Ai Composer's functions:
-
Start with an object you want to visualize by typing it into the
prompt box, an example:
astronaut standing in the middle of a field of red flowers
-
Add detail to the scene by adding more contextual prompts in front
of, or behind the initial object in the prompt:
a wide long shot astronaut standing in the middle of a field of red
flowers
holding a sword with a bow and quiver attached to their
back
-
You can also use the composer's
thesaurus function to make your prompts have more
specificity and detail. When typing single word prompts, click the
get words button to get a list of suggestions to
choose from, and then click the one you like to insert it.
-
You can split up longer prompts into individual words by clicking
the split words button. This will also allow you
to search for substitutes more easily.
-
Once you've gotten to a prompt you like, you can adjust settings
for additional functions like a reference image, sizing, hd mode,
quality, and more. (switch on full control for all currently
enabled flags in the Midjourney tooling)
-
Now that you've set things up, press copy to clipboard to get a
prompt with flags for running with the Midjourney
/imagine
command.
Working how you like
Be sure to check out the controls panel for
hotkeys! Working fast makes this tool great.
We currently love to use
Arc browser's split feature to keep Ai Composer right next to our Discord
server with Midjourney bot at the ready. You can also do this even
without Arc if you open up two separate windows and place them side
by side.
Ai Composer also has alternate color themes for you
to try if dark mode isn't your thing. Use the palette icon in the
editor to change it!
If you ever need this again, just click the
about button!
